Barcelona star Neymar has made the surprise admission that he would like to play in the Premier League someday and has named Arsenal as one of the English clubs he admires.
The Brazilian has won two Liga titles and the Champions League since joining the club from Santos in 2013.
Neymar is enjoying a superb season this time around, almost single-handedly driving Barcelona into the quarter-finals of the Champions League with an inspirational display against PSG.
The 25-year-old has now claimed he would like to play in England and has revealed his favourite teams.
“The Premier League is a championship that amazes me,” he said via The Sun. “I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.
“I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool — these are the teams that are always there fighting.

“And then you have high-level coaches like Mourinho and Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work.”
Neymar also praised reigning champions Leicester City who despite enduring a difficult season domestically are through to the last eight of the Champions League.
“In the Premier League you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise,” he added.
“Leicester are very good. They had a great season last year, they were Prem champions and therefore we need to respect them if we draw them in the Champions League.”
Neymar’s words come as something of a surprise but it would be superb to see him plying his trade in England, although Barcelona have already revealed the buyout clause in his new contract, which he signed last summer and which stands at a cool “200 million euros for the first year of his contract, 222 million for the second and 250 million for the remaining three years.”
