Arsenal have sold forward Lucas Perez to West Ham United in a deal believed to be starting at just £4 million (via Arsenal.com).
It would have been a surprise to see Lucas Perez remain at the club this season and today, we have confirmation that he will not.
The Spanish forward has made just 21 appearances for Arsenal since his £17 million move from Deportivo back in 2016.
He returned to the La Liga side last season and many suspected he could have had a fresh start at the Emirates.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out and now, the 29-year-old has completed a move to Premier League side West Ham United.

“I’m very excited, as West Ham are giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League,” Perez told The Hammers’ official website.
“I’m very happy to be part of this new project. West Ham have great fans and play in an amazing stadium, so to sign here brings me great joy. I’m very motivated.”
It’s a shame to see Lucas Perez leave the club without really fulfilling his attention at the Emirates. The Spaniard is clearly talented and could prove to be a shrewd signing for the Hammers, especially at that low price.
