The Gunners have been dealt a blow with the news that in form Tomas Rosicky is a major doubt ahead of this weekends must-win fixture against Norwich City at Emirates.
The experienced Czech international has been in flying form recently and has been instrumental to Arsenal’s late resurgence in the league netting a brace in last weekends 2-1 victory over West Brom.
There is however a silver lining as Jack Wilshere is likely to be involved in proceedings as he is back training full time with the first team and Arsene Wenger has rated the young midfielder and compatriot Theo Walcott ‘90% available’.
If Wilshere is fully fit then his return would be welcomed, however there should be no rushing him back just to cover Rosicky. Wenger has options with Cazorla able to shift centrally again, however he has been devastating out wide of late.
The Frenchman revealed the following team news in his usual pre match press conference:
[on Wilshere and Walcott] Jack has joined normal training since Wednesday and Theo should join in tomorrow. They are 90 per cent available for Saturday.

[on other team news] The other uncertainty we have from last Saturday is Tomas Rosicky, who has a little hamstring irritation. His involvement is yet to be decided as well but it’s fair to say that he is a big doubt for Saturday. And of course, Per Mertesacker will be out because of his red card.
