The PFA Team of the Year has been announced, with Alexis Sanchez the only Arsenal inclusion. Our summer signing has been in sensational form this season, and is currently the club’s top scorer.
He really hit the ground running upon his arrival at the Emirates, and looks tailor made for the Premier League. His seemingly endless energy levels and incredible work rate have seen him become an instant success in the English top flight, and if he can keep it up he has the potential to go down as an Arsenal great.

The Chilean is joined by Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea, and Southampton new boy Ryan Bertrand. The rest of the team is made up of Chelsea players, with the Blues looking certain to clinch the title this season.
At the start of the season there were no questions about whether the majority of the Chelsea squad deserved a place in the Team of the Year, but their form has taken a severe dip in the second half of the campaign.

We are the in for team at the moment, and have been performing superbly since the turn of the year. Our slow start to the season looks to have cost us not only the title, but also a few places in the Team of the Year.
You could argue that the likes of Mesut Özil or Santi Cazorla deserve a place ahead of Coutinho however, with a number of our boys playing out of their skins recently.
What do you think Gooners? Is this team fair, or are there any other Arsenal players who deserve a place?
