The sad case of Abou Diaby looks set to come to an end this summer, as the midfielder nears the end of his contract at the club. As patient as Arsene Wenger has been, an extension for Diaby doesn’t look on the cards, and the Metro believe his days are numbered.
Here are five other players who should follow Diaby out of Arsenal.
5. Mathieu Flamini
Unbelievably re-signed by Wenger despite leaving the club when we needed him most in 2008, Flamini hasn’t really rekindled his relationship with the fans.

His game hasn’t improved either, and a lack of technique has meant a lack of suitability to the current style of play.
The Frenchman did a job for us when he first arrived, and proved to be a decent free signing. He has outgrown his usefulness though, and should be moved on.
