The season’s post-mortem examination is almost upon us and whilst some huge games remain, the club should already be preparing for next season.
Our rivals will definitely be putting plans in place ahead of next season with summer recruits lined up and our club must be doing the same to prevent being left behind.
The difference this summer however, is that we are so close to having the squad capable of winning the Premier League and going further in the Champions League.

Arsenal transfer rumours
A goalkeeper, despite Arsene Wenger’s denial (via The Evening Standard), is surely on our summer transfer list and here are five shot-stoppers the boss must target this summer.
5. Jan Oblak – Atletico Madrid

The La Liga champions seem to be the ‘La Masia’ of goalkeepers given the talents that have emerged form the Vicente Calderon. David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois have previously worn the No.1 jersey and the torch has now been handed to Oblak.
The Slovenian single handedly kept his team in the Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid last month with a string of sensational saves and at just 22 years of age, Oblak definitely has a wonderful future.
Release clauses prominent in every player’s contract in Spain makes this move feasible, although there has been no reports linking us to the highly rated ‘keeper.
