Via The Metro – The original report suggests that the Gunners could be tempted by either Bender or his Leverkusen team-mate Christoph Kramer, who is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach. Bender, twin brother of Borussia Dortmund star Sven, has been an integral part of his club side for many years, regularly helping them qualify for the Champions League. The 26-year-old also has 19 international caps for Germany to his name.
