Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s stunning strike against AS Monaco in our ill-fated Champions League last-16 clash has been voted Arsenal Goal of the Month for February.
Arsenal transfer news
Chamberlain collected the ball against the Ligue 1 side after a melee in the box before needing just one touch to then whip it into the top corner.
The England international may have been responsible for the third goal and likely final nail in the coffin of our European hopes but we can certainly forgive him after such a sumptuous, curling effort on goal.
The Ox received 42 per-cent of the votes to win whilst Olivier Giroud’s volleyed second goal against Middlesbrough made him runner-up.
