Chelsea have become the latest club to express an interest in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain along with Manchester City and Liverpool, according to Sky Sports.
The report claims that the Ox is becoming frustrated with his Arsenal future with talks yet to begin over a new contract, his current deal expires next summer.
However, details about Chelsea’s interest are fairly non-existent in the report, other than to say that they are now interested in the 23-year-old.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for the England international for some time and could prove an attractive proposition.
The Reds are more likely to be able to offer the Ox the central midfield role he prefers, and unlike Arsenal, also have Champions League football next season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain admitted at the start of last season he could be tempted to move on if he was not playing regularly, however towards the end of the campaign he was one of Arsenal’s best performers.

However, he spent the end of the campaign playing in a right wing-back role and his versatility was certainly tested to the full with him even ending up on the opposite flank for the FA Cup final.
Arsene Wenger has insisted regularly he wants to keep hold of Oxlade-Chamberlain and so it seems a little strange the club have not even begun talks over a new deal.
