Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech reflected on what must’ve been an emotional occasion for him during our London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Cech couldn’t add to the three clean sheets he kept in his last three appearances but will no doubt be delighted that he’s got this fixture out of the way so early in the season.
Having spent 11 years of his life in west London, he won every trophy available to him and was given a respectable reception by the home crowd ahead of what was a feisty affair.
Cech thanked the home and away support through his Twitter page, although much of the post-match talk centred around his former teammate Diego Costa and his thuggish behaviour on the pitch.

The Chelsea man somehow avoided a red card throughout the game after getting himself involved in a number of altercations with several of our players.
Hopefully, the retrospective policy available to referees will serve justice and punish Costa for his misconduct.
