Piers Morgan claims to be an Arsenal fan, but we at AllArsenal are more than a little sceptical. He only seems to pipe up when he smells controversy, and his latest Twitter rant is arguably his best (worst) yet.
The celebrity supporter claims he’d replace Arsene Wenger with Jose Mourinho at Arsenal tomorrow if given the opportunity, showing once and for all just how fake an Arsenal fan he really is.
Morgan was seen spouting his rubbish on social media once again, pushing his anti-Wenger propaganda and attempting to justify his ridiculous views.
Mourinho’s won 6 League titles in 3 different countries since Wenger last won one. That’s the difference. I’d take him @Arsenal tomorrow.

There are plenty of Arsenal fans who no longer give their backing to Wenger, and while we don’t agree with them, they are entitled to their opinions. But to suggest that Mourinho should be the next Arsenal manager is nothing short of preposterous, and it’s an opinion that deserves castigation.
Not only is Mourinho ill suited to the role at Arsenal, as our board are unlikely to give him hundreds of millions to spend on totally redeveloping the squad with ready made stars, but real Arsenal fans have no interest in a manager who arrives at a club, spends a fortune, and leaves the club in tatters a year or two later.
On top of that, how could anybody possibly advocate Mourinho instead of Wenger at this moment in time? The Frenchman has helped us move joint top of the table – second to Manchester City only by goal difference – while the Portuguese manager and his title winning side are currently languishing in 15th with 11 points from 11 games.

Arsenal fans would riot if Mourinho was named as our next manager, and Morgan would no doubt find something else to complain about soon after.
