Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals summer transfer window plans
We got back to winning ways at the KC Stadium this past Monday night, and look like finishing the season strongly.
Here are the player ratings for our 3-1 win over Hull City:
GK) David Ospina – 7.0

Barely had anything to do, and was relatively helpless for the goal.
He clattered Francis Coquelin early on, but thankfully the midfielder recovered.
RB) Hector Bellerin – 7.0
The Spaniard was solid at right-back once again, and got forward well at times.
Most of Hull’s decent attacks came down his side, but Bellerin stood up well to the threat posed by Robbie Brady and Dame N’Doye.
CB) Laurent Koscielny – 7.5
Far and away one of the best centre-backs in the league, and he showed it once again this past Monday night.
He made a huge number of vital interceptions and clearances, and was unlucky not to have been given a free kick in the build up for Hull’s goal.
CB) Per Mertesacker – 7.0
A decent performance from the German, who was in the right place at the right time for the most part. Arguably should have done better for the goal we conceded.
LB) Nacho Monreal – 7.0
Struggled aerially against Ahmed Elmohamady, but was defensively solid for the most part. Wasn’t able to get forward as much as he would have liked.
DM) Francis Coquelin – 7.5
Another excellent performance from the Frenchman, who dominated in midfield yet again.
Nothing fancy from the 23-year-old, but he did a job and worked really hard for the team.
CM) Santi Cazorla – 8.5 (MotM)
His pass for Aaron Ramsey’s goal showed the quality he possesses, picking out the Welshman with a fantastic ball.
The Spaniard was excellent in midfield once again, and linked up superbly with Mesut Özil.
CAM) Mesut Özil – 8.0
A fantastic display from the German playmaker, as he pulled the strings from midfield and made some fantastic runs beyond the defence.
His first half display was surreal, and he really looked worthy of our record signing tag tonight.
RAM) Aaron Ramsey – 8.0
He started off slowly, and initially looked sloppy on the ball. He grew into the game however, and he capped an excellent performance with a goal and an assist. Was replaced in the second half.
LAM) Alexis Sanchez – 8.5
After a dip in form in 2015, the Chilean finally looks to be getting back to be best. Two goals tonight, and an excellent all round performance.
He looks unplayable at times, and really should have had a hat-trick.
ST) Olivier Giroud – 6.5
The Frenchman really struggled in the air against Hull, something he can’t be used to. He barely saw the ball, despite our dominance in possession, but he occupied the centre-backs well at times and created space for the team to play.
He was eventually substituted for Theo Walcott.
Substitutes:
Jack Wilshere – 7.5
An excellent return for the England international, who looked like he had never been away when he replaced Aaron Ramsey.
He made a number of fantastic runs that only he is capable of, and will be hoping to remain injury free to cement his place back in the team.
Theo Walcott – 6.5
Walcott has struggled recently, and has barely featured since his return from injury. He was yet again unable to make an impact, and was only given a few minutes to make something happen.
