It is very difficult to determine how our team will look next season, and much will depend on Arsene Wenger’s business in the transfer window.
However, pre-season is a time to test out new formations and experiment with different partnerships, and we’ve decided to come up with an attacking lineup consisting of a few signings we’ve been linked to in the media.

Here is an XI which will take some stopping next season:
GK) Petr Cech
With all the noises coming out of both camps this week, it seems as though it’s a matter of time before Cech joins us – which would signify a huge statement of intent (via the Daily Mail).

RB) Hector Bellerin
It’s difficult to see the Spaniard being displaced anytime soon due to the qualities he offers Wenger. Comfortable with the ball at his feet, Bellerin has also improved defensively. Mathieu Debuchy will have a tough task wrestling a starting spot back off him.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Our German skipper remains the leader of the back four and he could be a massive part of a solid defensive triangle next season ahead of Cech.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
Easily our best central defender, Koscielny will have a much-deserved break this summer and aim to hit the ground running next season. Gabriel will be looking to make his mark and force his way into the starting XI, but it will be a big ask.
LB) Nacho Monreal
Has there been a better full-back than the Spaniard in the Premier League during 2015? Monreal has added some aggression to his game and has been one of our most consistent players.
