We’ve got the definition of a six pointer against Manchester City this Monday evening, and with Leicester City winning against Everton we need the three points all the more.
We’ve got a few players who could potentially return from injury, but the one everyone cares about is Alexis Sanchez (via Arsenal.com).
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up against Manchester City:
GK) Petr Cech
The Czech international has been instrumental to our success this season, and Arsene Wenger shouldn’t even be considering rotating the former Chelsea shot-stopper for such a huge game.
RB) Hector Bellerin
Don't Miss:

Similarly to Cech, resting Bellerin just isn’t an option. Mathieu Debuchy has been poor so far this campaign, and Bellerin will almost certainly keep his place.
LB) Nacho Monreal
There’s more chance of rotation at left-back, with Kieran Gibbs arguably a little unlucky to not see more game time this season. Monreal has been hugely reliable though, and deserves to start against City.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
The Frenchman is one of the first names on the teamsheet when fully fit, and is arguably the best defender in the Premier League. He’s struggled with injury once again this season, but if he’s 100% then he will no doubt keep his place.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Many Arsenal fans would love to see more of Gabriel Paulista, but for the moment Arsene Wenger seems determined to stick with his vice captain Per Mertesacker.
