We’ve got a tricky few games coming up over the next week or so, and injuries have made things even more difficult. The team more or less picks itself considering how limited our options are, but there are question marks over a couple of positions.
Here’s how we think Arsenal should line up against Swansea:
GK) Petr Cech
The Czech international has been unquestionably been a revelation in goal this season, and has already proven his worth on more than one occasion. Even if David Ospina weren’t injured (via Arsenal.com), he’d be sure to start.
RB) Hector Bellerin

- Norwich star says it ‘depends’ on club if Arsenal can sign him
Mathieu Debuchy yet again failed to impress when given the chance against Sheffield Wednesday, and there is now no question that he should be nowhere near the starting XI when Bellerin is fit.
LB) Nacho Monreal
The Spaniard is truly in fantastic form at the moment, and his reliability is really refreshing. It’s something we’ve lacked in defence in the past, so it’s great that he’s improved so much.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
The first name on the teamsheet at the back, and after being rested in midweek he should be fully fit to start against Swansea.
CB) Gabriel Paulista
Per Mertesacker was as poor as anyone against Sheffield Wednesday, and deserves to be dropped for the trip to Wales. Arsene Wenger may choose to stick with the experienced German, but Gabriel should really get the nod.
