Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane for the infamous North London Derby on Saturday. It’s the early kick off and unfortunately the match comes too soon for Alexis Sanchez who has been ruled out of the tie.
There is some good news, however, with Danny Welbeck expected back in the side after his recent injury woes, but that will be the only change to the side that smashed Aston Villa 5-0.
In light of the team news, we’ve named an unchanged lineup from the one that looked at their fluent best last weekend at Emirates with players such as Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Theo Walcott keeping their places.
Let’s start between the sticks. David Ospina retains his spot after yet another clean sheet. Although he has not had to make any extreme saves, he did put in one very crucial interception/save just before the half on Sunday and was alert late in the match even at 5-0. He certainly concentrates and that’s not always an attribute you associate with Wojciech Szczesny.
Bellerin and Monreal will start on either flank with Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker paired centrally. Ahead of them Francis Coquelin will sweep up the mess in midfield and aim to keep danger-man Christian Eriksen at bay.

Aaron Ramsey, with his tractor like engine should be the prime candidate in the box to box role but should be more disciplined as he was against Manchester City. Santi Cazorla undoubtedly starts as the No10.
The only change I could predicted is Tomas Rosicky coming in for Theo Walcott. The Czech is a big derby player. The two worldies he netted last season is more than enough proof, but with Mesut Ozil almost certain to start on the left, we need a bit more of a fear factor on the right to help stretch their defence.
Olivier Giroud spearheads the attack and will hope to build on his fine form up front especially with Welbeck now back in the mix.
