Premier League newcomers Norwich have reportedly made a ‘substantial’ offer to sign former Arsenal striker Benik Afobe, who is currently plying his trade with Wolves, according to Sky Sports.
Afobe, who left us to join the West Midlands side in January on a permanent basis, was in sensational form last season for his various clubs.
Having scoring 19 goals in 30 appearances for MK Dons in all competitions during the first half of last season, Afobe continued his goalscoring form at Wolves and ended the campaign reaching a personal landmark and netting 32 times in all competitions.
Afobe, who graduated from our academy at the same time as Jack Wilshere, never really got the chance to shine due to a number of unfortunately timed injuries.
Arsenal transfer news
The 22-year-old has proven that he can score goals in League 1 and the Championship, so it comes as no surprise that a newly promoted Premier League club is interested in him.
