PSG star Dani Alves has claimed that “it’s a possibility” that Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez will join the Parisian side (via Sport Witness).
It’s a transfer saga which seems to be taking a new turn every day. We reported yesterday that Manchester City were confident of signing Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez but it seems that they’re not the only team.
Paris Saint Germain have long been linked with a move for the player in a transfer which would surely make for better reading amongst Arsenal fans than a switch to their Premier League rivals.
Now, PSG’s right-back Dani Alves was asked about Sanchez’s potential signing after the pair played together at FC Barcelona.
“It’s a possibility. He’s courted by many teams,” Alves said.

“It would be nice if he joined us. I will always appreciate him and I will always wish him the best wherever he goes.”
The wealthy Ligue 1 side have already brought in Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in the past few months and Sanchez would complete a deadly attacking trio.
It seems inevitable that Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal in the coming months. The Chilean’s contract expires at the end of the season and while it was touted that he could look to run it down and leave for free in the summer, Arsenal would want to cash in while they have a chance. PSG would be perfect for that in the January window.
