Aaron Ramsey has claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s second goal reminded him of Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry (via Arsenal.com).
He’s already an Arsenal favourite but it appears as if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is drawing comparisons with an Arsenal legend.
Aubameyang grabbed two goals in Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Spurs but it was his second goal which really impressed.
The former Dortmund struck the ball into the far corner of the net with incredible power and now, the man which set the goal up has had his say on Arsenal’s number 14.
“It was unbelievable but he does that in training all the time,” Aaron Ramsey said after the match.
“He just eases the ball into the corners but with pace as well. It reminds me of Thierry Henry’s finishes, so he has that in the locker. He’s been fabulous for us.

“I’ve been here now for many, many years so it means an awful lot to me and the fans as well. I’m just glad I could play my part and we can all go home happy tonight.”
It’s not the first time Aubameyang has been compared to Thierry Henry and it certainly won’t be the last. The Gabonese striker is on an incredible run of form right now and hopefully, that will continue.
