Arsenal teenager Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been in the news recently due to the alleged wrongdoings of his mother who has since been banned by the club, according to The Telegraph.
On the pitch however, as the report suggests, the positivity regarding the teenager’s prospects remain and his relative involvement in the first team this season has been a clear indication of this.
Earlier on this season, whilst we were in the midst of a severe injury crisis, Maitland-Niles was the one youth player consistently named in the matchday squads alongside our senior stars.
The midfielder was even given 45 minutes to strut his stuff in our last Champions League group game at Galatasaray alongside some of his peers.
Arsenal transfer rumours

Here are five players who could be our stars of tomorrow.
5. Julio Pleguezuelo
Another promising star plucked from Barcelona famed La Masia academy, Pleguezuelo is starting to produce consistent performances at youth level. The 18-year-old was likened to the legendary ‘Carlos Puyol’ (via the Metro) during his time in Spain due to his diminutive frame for a central defender. The young starlet can play anywhere across the back four and has recently been deployed at right-back due to a lack of options in Steve Gatting’s side.
