The 26 year old has been in great form this season scoring 24 goals and has also assisted 14 times for the Spanish side. The Gunners have been heavily linked with the Frenchman, who has just one year remaining on his current deal and it’s being suggested that Real are ready to cash in on him this summer.
Parlour feels that Arsene Wenger should do all he can to get the high-profile forward to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
According to the Express, he said:
Suarez, I think he has probably trebled in price, and I don’t think they will ever sell him to Arsenal.
Benzema has been mentioned, he would do a good job.

They need a fox in the box, an Ian Wright back in the day. An Ian Wright would be perfect.
We will have to see who they get but I hope it’s another massive signing, it would be fantastic for Arsenal.
He can play as the main forward, in a supporting role on either side of the attack or can drop back and play behind a main striker. His goal scoring record is impressive but he offers more than goals as his intelligent movement and sharp reactions facilitate plenty of opportunities for himself and team mates. He will create plenty of space for others and would also thrive on the service of our creative midfielders.
The deadly attacker has been in stellar form for his club this season and will be travelling to the World Cup alongside Arsenal centre forward Olivier Giroud. He is the type of player the Gunners need to increase their chances of winning both the Premier League next season.
The north London side has relied on Giroud far too much and injuries to Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey have also reduced the attacking proficiency in the latter half of the season. Wenger’s side only scored 68 goals during their domestic league campaign, just four more than Manchester United in seventh position and 33 goals behind runners-up Liverpool.
If we can sign Benzema then it would be a huge step towards our quest to once again become champions of England and he will also give us the firepower we need to progress further in Europe.
