Reports in Spain suggest that Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez in January (via The Mirror).
As we head closer and closer to the January transfer window, this story won’t be going away anytime soon.
The future of Alexis Sanchez is one of the big unknowns at Arsenal right now with the Chilean having just seven months remaining on his contract at the club.
The forward came close to a move to Manchester City on deadline day in the summer but that fell through and now, many people are wondering if Sanchez could be sold in the January window.
Pep Guardiola would undoubtedly be keen on signing Sanchez when the window opens up in six weeks but he could face competition.

Spanish publication, Mundo Deportivo claims that La Liga champions, Real Madrid could be interested in making a move for Sanchez.
The Chilean signed for the Gunners from Madrid’s biggest rivals, FC Barcelona back in 2015 but, of course, he wouldn’t be the first player to play for both clubs. Sanchez showed his importance to Arsenal over the weekend but if he is refusing to sign a new deal at the club then a January sale seems like the best option.
