Reiss Nelson has revealed the four first-team players who have most helped the youngster settle in the first-team (via the Metro).
Reiss Nelson has had a good few months. After first coming to the attention of many Arsenal fans during pre-season, the youngster has since joined up with the first-team during the season.
Nelson has featured heavily in Arsenal’s cup competitions as well as making a number of appearances in the Europa League.
It’s a long way from the youth team to the first-team setup for the 17-year-old and now, Nelson has revealed which players have helped him settle.
“It was different coming from Hale End to London Colney. The coaching is so much different and the environment – you’ve got loads of first team players and world class players there.

“Alex Iwobi has really helped me. He’s always making jokes and seeing I’m okay.
“Lacazette as well is a nice guy. Ozil, Hector [Bellerin] as well – those are the boys, all the boys really, that have taken me in as a person and a footballer as well.”
Reiss Nelson has been hugely impressive since breaking into the Arsenal first-team. Even at just 17 years old, it’s clear that he has tremendous potential and it won’t be long before we see him in action in the Premier League.
