Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson has been named the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for October.
It’s fair to say that Reiss Nelson has impressed for Hoffenheim since starting his season-long loan move in the summer.
The 18-year-old has taken the Bundesliga by storm in the last few months, scoring six goals since his debut in August.
Nelson’s exploits have also caught the attention of his national team and he made his debut for the England Under-21s in October, scoring a goal in each of his two appearances.
Now, Nelson’s quality has also been recognised in Germany after he was named as the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for October.

- Dusan Vlahovic urged to complete ‘perfect’ transfer – not Arsenal
The Arsenal man beat out competition from Borussia Monchengladbach’s Florian Neuhaus and RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele.
It’s a nice achievement for Reiss Nelson who has been exceptional for Hoffenheim this season. He seems to be learning a lot from manager Julian Nagelsmann and will hopefully continue to do so in the coming months.
