Reports suggest that Arsenal are keen on sealing a late club-record deal to sign FC Barcelona wonder kid Ousmane Dembele (via Sport Witness).
It’s a transfer which would come completely out of the blue but it appears as if Arsenal are keen on making a major late deal.
Reports in both Spain and England suggest that the Gunners are keen on making a move for Ousmane Dembele with a rumoured €100 million deal in the works, a player who Emery is said to love.
FC Barcelona made a big-money bid for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba but in order to complete the deal, the Spanish club needs to raise funds.
This could open the door for Dembele to leave the club which would bring Arsenal into the mix, especially after FC Barcelona have signed an effective replacement for Dembele in one-time Arsenal target, Malcom.
A €100 million deal has been quoted which would see the Gunners pay €10 million for a season-long loan before a €90 million obligation to buy next year.

Dembele has spent just one year the Camp Nou after moving from Borussia Dortmund last year where he played alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and was scouted by Sven Mislintat.
It’s a dream transfer for many Arsenal fans and a front four of Ousman Dembele, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil would be as good as almost any attack in world football. It’s still in the speculation stage and there isn’t much time left in the window but there could be some weight to these claims as far as Arsenal’s interest is concerned.
