Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer Monaco €100 million for Thomas Lemar in the January transfer window (via Sport Witness).
It could turn out to be amongst the busiest transfer windows at Arsenal in many years if there is any truth in some of these stories.
The Gunners are looking at losing Alexis Sanchez for free in the summer which could prompt a sale in January and it seems that a potential replacement has been highlighted.
That January replacement is the same name as it was on deadline day in the summer: Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
The Gunners made a massive bid for the Frenchman on deadline day but the deal collapsed.

Now, reports in France claim that the North London side are ready to make another move for the 22-year-old and offer €100 million to his Ligue 1 side.
Lemar hasn’t been on the best form this season. Combine that with the ridiculous offer from Arsenal and it could prompt Monaco into selling one of their prized assets. Let’s see if this does actually happen.
