Bayern Munich’s incoming new boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly earmarked Gunners talisman Jack Wilshere as a key long-term transfer target.
The former Barcelona manager has already secured a transfer target of the Mario Gotze from Dortmund in a €37m deal for the highly rated youngster, and will look to strengthen the Bundesliga leaders significantly with Arsenal’s playmaker at some point in the near future.
The report from the Metro claims the Spaniard believes Wilshere will be acquirable at the right price however it may not be an instant transfer and the Bavarian giants may have to wait for Arsenal’s barren run to continue before he is convinced to leave North London.
The report cites ‘sources in Germany’ as the premises for the rumour that suggests Guardiola is determined to sign Wilshere as soon as possible, however it should not be taken too seriously -so don’t fret Gooners.
Wilshere, along with a host of top quality Englishman, have signed new long term deals recently plus he is one of the most committed Gooners around. There is little chance of the Englishman ever leaving Arsenal unless circumstances change and the Gunners go to the dumps. He’s our very own Stevie Gerrard!
