The 26-year-old is one of the most-admired centre-backs in European football after four years of consistent performances in Serie A.
The Gunners reportedly sent scouts to check up on both Timo Werner and Koulibaly’s performances during the latter side’s 3-1 defeat to Red Bull Leipzig last week.
It’s the sort of transfer which Arsenal should be trying desperately to complete. Kalidou Koulibaly is one of the best centre-backs in Europe and while he would cost a lot, he has the ability to be a figure in Arsenal’s defence for the next eight years.
