Manchester City are reportedly confident that they will be able to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez for just £25 million in the coming weeks (via The Metro).
It’s one of the worst-kept secrets in football but it seems that Alexis Sanchez’s potential transfer to Manchester City could be happening for less money than many expect.
Sanchez may have scored 24 goals in the Premier League last season but it seems that his market fee is lower than many expect.
Manchester City are said to be confident of landing the Arsenal man for as little as £25 million.
Sanchez is said to be ‘desperate’ to seal the move to Pep Guardiola’s team and considering how the two sides are performing right now, it’s easy to see why.

The Chilean’s contract expires at the end of the season which is why the Gunners are eager to cash in on the 29-year-old now, even at that reduced price.
Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester City will undoubtedly happen in the coming weeks but Arsenal’s decision to sell at that price is seriously in question. £25 million is a terrible return for a player of Sanchez’s calibre, even if he does have just six months left on his deal.
