Arsenal have reportedly agreed terms with Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil with Madrid willing to let him leave after the mega signing of Bale, according to reports in Marca.
Marca claim Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with Ozil on Saturday with Real Madrid only waiting for confirmation on the Gareth Bale(which was announced earlier today) before allowing Ozil to leave.
The report further suggests that Arsenal’s move for Mesut Ozil will be completed before the transfer window closes at 23:00 hours BST. The fee is expected to be around 45 million euros plus 5 million in incentives.
Real Madrid still have to agree to terms with Arsenal but are expected to as Carlo Ancelotti has given the green light to the move with Bale deal confirmed.
Wenger has come under severe pressure over the past few months for a steadfast reluctance to spend on new signings or even add to the first team at the Emirates; the only two new faces in that part of north London Yaya Sanogo and Mathieu Flamini arrived on free transfers.
Ozil played 154 matches for Madrid providing 81 assists and scoring 27 goals in all competitions. He has earned 47 caps for the German national team to date as well, scoring 14 goals and is part of a current crop of talented players from the nation touted to achieve great things. He would fit into Arsenal’s short passing and aesthetically pleasing style.

Arsenal have to careful and finish the deal as soon as possible with PSG and United trying to steal the deal way from the gunners. We will just find out soon anyway. Just less than a day left in the window.
Ozil would represent the marquee signing that fans in north London have been looking for, despite the fact that Arsene Wenger’s current policy of spending no money has seen the side secure four wins out of five so far this term.
