Reports claim that Arsenal’s Petr Cech was involved in a dressing room bust-up with a number of Arsenal players after the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday (via The Express).
The season may only be three matches old but Arsenal appear to be a club in crisis and things are reportedly worse behind the scenes.
The defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, along with last week’s defeat to Stoke City and the performance against Leicester have typified the Gunners in the last few years.
Now, many players are looking for the exit door and it seems that even the ones who want to stay aren’t exactly happy about it.
He clearly wasn’t happy after the game either as he spoke to the press.
“It was quite simply unacceptable for the size of the club we are and for the team we have,” Cech said after the game.

“We were not fighting, we were not running enough, we were not winning any individual battles and as a team we completely failed to respond to their way of playing, and that is the most disappointing thing. But we have only ourselves to blame.”
The Telegraph claims that Cech took this out on his teammates after the match which ended in a heated exchange amongst the team with the former Chelsea man claiming they should be embarrassed by their performance.
It’s unclear whether there is any truth in these reports but given everything that’s going on, the only surprise is that one of the players actually cares enough to know this situation is unacceptable.
