Reports suggest that the injury sustained by Aaron Ramsey will reportedly open the door for Arsenal to make a move for Steven N’Zonzi (via Sport Witness).
It’s always a shame to see a player suffer an injury, especially a player on such fine form as Aaron Ramsey is currently enjoying.
The Welshman suffered a hamstring problem during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton and as we’ve reported, he could be out of action for a number of weeks.
Now, reports in Spain suggest that Arsenal are planning a “shareholder’s meeting” today to discuss the solution to Ramsey’s injury.
Mundo Deportivo claims that that could involve a revived interest in Sevilla midfielder, Steven N’Zonzi.

The Frenchman was linked with a move to Arsenal last week after being told by his club to find a new team in the January transfer window.
Everton are reportedly amongst the frontrunners for the 28-year-old but Ramsey’s injury could change that.
It’s unclear how much truth is in these rumours. The injury to Aaron Ramsey is obviously a blow but it’s doubtful whether it’s serious enough to force Arsenal into signing a replacement. The Gunners have the likes of Jack Wilshere, Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin to come into midfield and besides, Ramsey should be back in action by the time the January window opens.
