Jack Wilshere is reportedly set to sign a new deal which will keep him at the Emirates for a further three years (via The Mirror).
With all the intrigue over who will be Arsenal’s next manager, many Gunners fans have somewhat forgotten about the future of midfielder Jack Wilshere.
The England midfielder’s current contract is set to expire in the coming weeks but it seems that his time at the Emirates is far from over.
The 26-year-old has been at the club since the age of nine but was strongly linked with a summer exit.
The club and player have been in negotiations for many months but it appeared that things had reached an impasse.
However, it is being reported that the midfielder will sign a new deal this week which will see him stay at the club for three years with an option of a fourth.

It’s good to see that Jack Wilshere will stay at the club. The Englishman is clearly a talented player but has somewhat gone off the boil in recent weeks. It’s unclear what this says about the future of Aaron Ramsey but it appears that Wilshere’s future is at the Emirates.
