Arsenal have reportedly become the favourites to sign the Chelsea and England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek (via ESPN).
He’s one of the leading talents in a group of excellent young English players but he can’t seem to get much time on the pitch at Chelsea.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek impressed at times during the World Cup but is seemingly a long way away from manager Maurizio Sarri’s first team.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace but is still at Stamford Bridge this term.
However, the youngster has seen limited playing time and his manager has called on Loftus-Cheek to improve tactically if he is to find a place in the first-team.
Now, ESPN has reported that Loftus-Cheek has grown frustrated with the situation and is a potential transfer target for Arsenal amongst some other Premier League sides.

The report does go onto claim that Chelsea do not want to sell the player whose contract expires in 2021.
It’s unclear how much truth is in these reports. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a talented player but clearly isn’t seen as a first-team starter by Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri. Arsenal will need to sign a replacement for Aaron Ramsey in the centre of midfield but Loftus-Cheek would be an expensive option.
