Reports suggest that Arsenal could be willing to sell Nacho Monreal this summer with some Spanish sides interested in the player (via Goal.com).
He was one of Arsenal’s best players last season but reports suggest that he may not be around for much longer.
Nacho Monreal was one of the few consistent performers in the team during the last few months of the season despite playing in a number of positions.
Reports emerged last week that La Liga side Real Sociedad were keen on signing the player who has been linked with a return to Spain for a number of seasons.
Most Arsenal fans thought nothing of it considering the player’s previous importance to the first-team but it seems as if things could change.
Goal’s Chris Wheatley has claimed that the player is not a part of Unai Emery’s plans.

The news comes at the same time as reports from Calcio Mercato which suggest that Real Sociedad have in fact pulled out of their pursuit of Monreal.
It would be strange to see Nacho Monreal leave the club without a replacement brought in. The Spaniard is a hugely experienced and reliable player who surely wouldn’t be worth selling.
