Arsenal have reportedly open contract talks with Aaron Ramsey after apparent interest in the Welshman from clubs in Spain (via The Mirror).
Saturday’s match against Everton was supposed to be all about the new signings as far as Arsenal were concerned.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both put in excellent performances but Aaron Ramsey stole the headlines with his hat trick.
It capped what has been an excellent few months for the Welshman who has been at the Emirates since 2008.
Ramsey’s current contract is set to expire at the end of next season and apparently eager to avoid a repeat of the situation regarding Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with the Welshman.

It is claimed that Arsenal are in for some tough negotiations after handing a bumper deal to Ozil and the situation is only complicated by apparent interest from clubs in Spain.
Let’s hope Aaron Ramsey does agree to a new contract because he has been hugely important to Arsenal this season. The Welshman’s form in front of goal is reminiscent of that incredible season he had back in 2012/13 so let’s hope it continues.
