Reports suggest that Arsenal are about to make a move for the former Atletico Madrid winger, Yannick Carrasco (via Sport Witness).
It’s clear that this Arsenal squad has weaknesses and now that the January transfer window is open, that could change.
The Gunners have certainly taken advantage of the window in the last couple of years and it’s clear that the club is looking to do so again.
As well as a centre-back, the Gunners are also lacking strength out wide with many fans craving the addition of a pacy winger.
Now, reports in France have suggested the Gunners could make a bid to sign the former Atletico Madrid player Yannick Carrasco “in the next few days.”
The 25-year-old is currently playing for the Chinese side Dalian Yifang but reports have suggested that the Belgian international is keen on returning to Europe.

Money is an obstacle for the Gunners right now but reports in England have suggested that Carrasco is willing to take a pay cut to return to his home continent.
It remains to be seen how much truth is in these reports. Yannick Carrasco is a talented player who could add a lot to the squad but it would be a difficult and expensive move to pull off. If the Gunners could complete the signing while leaving enough room to bring in a centre-back then this is definitely something worth pursuing.
