Reports suggest that Everton are keen on signing Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck who is entering the final year of his contract (via The Times).
A number of Arsenal players are entering the final 12 months of their contracts at the club with Aaron Ramsey topping the list of candidates which the club wants to re-sign.
Petr Cech and Danny Welbeck are two of the other first-team players on the list and it seems as if there is some interest in the latter.
Reports suggest that Everton are keen on signing Welbeck as manager Marco Silva looks to rebuild his squad.
Arsenal sold another English wide player, Theo Walcott to Everton just six months ago and it seems as if the Merseyside club want to make another purchase.
Welbeck is still on holiday after being given an extended break from Arsenal after his involvement in the World Cup.

It will be interesting to see what head coach Unai Emery does with players like Danny Welbeck. Arsenal aren’t blessed with too many options out wide and there’s a feeling that either Welbeck or Lucas Perez could play a useful role in the squad this season.
