Reports in Spain suggest that Villarreal star Pablo Fornals isn’t thinking of a January move but Arsenal’s interest could change his mind (via Sport Witness).
It seems as if Arsenal are increasing their search for an Aaron Ramsey replacement as the Gunners turn their heads to Spain.
We reported yesterday that the Gunners were reportedly keen on Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals who has been making waves in La Liga this season.
The 22-year-old has impressed so far this season but isn’t reportedly looking to make a move in the January window.
However, the Spanish publication Marca has claimed that that may change if ‘big club like Arsenal comes on the scene’.
The claims earlier in the week were that Fornals would be available for around €20 million. However, reports in Spain suggest that the real figure would be around double that with Fornals has a €40 million release clause in his contract.

It’s an interesting story and could certainly work in Arsenal’s favour. Pablo Fornals looks like he could be a good prospect and is still young at just 22 years old.
