Reports in Germany suggest that Sven Mislintat is ready to bring another Borussia Dortmund star to Arsenal (via SportBild).
Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have played each other a number of times on the pitch in the last decade but two clubs have also struck up a bond off of it too.
The Gunners have had no shortage of business dealings with the Bundesliga side with transfer chief Sven Mislintat one of the first to join up.
Arsenal’s head of recruitment has helped bring in former Dortmund trio Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sokratis and reports suggest that he wants to add one more player.
The man in question is Julian Weigl, a 23-year-old central midfielder who plays for Dortmund and the German national team.
Weigl has dropped down the pecking order at Westfalenstadion with SportBild claiming that the Gunners are keen on swooping in.

Julian Weigl is a talented player but can’t quite seem to get into the starting lineup for Borussia Dortmund this season. The Gunner will need a replacement for Aaron Ramsey in the coming months but it’s unclear whether the 23-year-old German is the best candidate to be that man.
