The race for Aaron Ramsey seems to be entering its final stages according to reports in Italy.
The Welshman’s contract with Arsenal is set to expire at the end of the season and the Gunners have reportedly withdrawn their extension offer.
Now, reports in Italy suggest that AC Milan – and Ivan Gazidis – are leading the race for the player’s signature.
The Italian publication Tuttosport also lists Juventus as Milan’s biggest rivals for the player, ruling a host of English sides out of the race.
Ramsey has made 338 appearances for the Gunners but looks set to end his ten-year association with the club at the end of the season.

It’s unclear how much truth is in these reports. Aaron Ramsey does look set to leave the club in the coming months but it would be a bit of a surprise to see him move abroad.
