Juventus have reportedly become the first club to make a bid for a long-term Arsenal target, Aleksandr Golovin (via The Express).
He has been one of the stars of the World Cup but if rumours are to believed, Arsenal’s interest in the player stretches far back.
Aleksandr Golovin impressed everyone with his performances for Russia in the host nation’s first two group matches in charge.
It’s common for players to burst onto the international scene at World Cups and just like James Rodriguez four years ago, Golovin has since attracted interest from major European sides.
One of them is Juventus and it is being claimed in the Italian media that the Serie A champions have become the first club to make their interest known with a bid ranging between €15-19.
Arsenal have long been interested in the player with Arsene Wenger apparently scouting the player last season.

The Gunners are believed to be keen on his signing again but they are not alone in that regard. Juventus will obviously provide stiff competition but it is claimed that Chelsea are also keen. Aleksandr Golovin is a talented player but isn’t exactly the sort of player that Arsenal need to sign during this window.
