Alexis Sanchez has reportedly decided he will stay at Arsenal and see out his current deal, before leaving for free next summer.
According to the Mirror, the Chilean has accepted the Gunners will not sell him, and is resigned to staying at the club for one more season.
The report even claims he has been hinting to friends and team-mates that he will stay, and indeed was pictured kissing the badge during training last week.
Manager Arsene Wenger has repeatedly insisted he will not sell Sanchez, despite reported interest from a host of clubs including Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
PSG have recently pulled off the shock signing of Neymar from Barcelona, which suggests they will not now move for Sanchez, while despite all the rumours about interest from City, they are yet to make their interest official.
Sanchez has previously admitted he wants to play in the Champions League, something Arsenal cannot offer this season, but if the report is true it seems he may have accepted he will have to see out his contract.

While Arsenal will be hoping they can persuade Sanchez to extend his current deal in the meantime, there’s also the strong likelihood he will walk away for nothing next summer.
Obviously that would be a huge blow, and if a big offer comes in for the Chilean before the end of the transfer window, it will be interesting to see if Arsenal stick to their hardline stance.
