Alexis Sanchez’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, is in Germany to discuss a possible summer move to Bayern Munich, according to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio.
The report claims Carlo Ancelotti’s side are willing to offer Arsenal £50 million for their top scorer, with Sanchez set to earn £11m a year at Allianz Arena.
While Manchester City also retain an interest, Bayern have moved ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side with Felicevich, who is also Arturo Vidal’s agent, ready to listen to Bayern’s offer.
The opportunity to play alongside Vidal, and of course in the Champions League with Bayern, are set to tempt Sanchez with the German giants also able to compete with his wage demands.
Having missed out on the Champions League this season, Bayern are believed to be ready for a summer of spending in order to strengthen their squad and have the finances available to fund a move for Sanchez and bring in other players.
Sanchez has enjoyed another superb season for Arsenal scoring 29 goals in all competitions but his refusal to sign a contact extension has led to huge speculation over his future.

The Chilean has insisted he is happy in London but having seen Arsenal miss out on a place in the top four it would be little surprise to see him depart, even if the Gunners do win the FA Cup on Saturday.
While Arsenal will be loathe to see him depart, a move to Bayern would certainly be move preferable than seeing Sanchez line up for either City or Chelsea next season.
