Arsenal have tied down both Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla to new long-term contracts, with the Spaniard taking to Twitter to announce the news.
Cazorla had previously agreed a two year extension (via Arsenal.com), but the news wasn’t officially announced until now.

The 30-year-old has been one of our most consistent performers since his arrival from Malaga in 2012, and was particularly fantastic during our successful spell in 2015.
He has thrived in a deeper role, and has excelled alongside Francis Coquelin in the centre of our midfield. There is plenty of competition for places – with Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere pushing for a starting spot – but Cazorla has arguably done enough to make himself first choice.

It’s fantastic that we are keeping hold of our best players now rather than seeing them leave for our rivals, and we are in a fantastic position to push on and continue our trophy winning run this season.
Arsene Wenger announced his delight at the deals, praising both players following the news.
“We’re delighted to have extended the contracts of Santi and Theo. Both are top quality players who are hugely important and influential to our squad,” Wenger said, as quoted by Arsenal.com.
“As well as their huge contributions on the pitch, they both have a great deal of experience and are very popular off the pitch. We’re very pleased with them both signing contract extensions, as it provides our squad with further stability of quality.”
