Sevilla are keen on a move for Lucas Perez who is determined to leave Arsenal this summer, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The Liga side were in contention to sign Perez last summer before he ultimately opted to swap Deportivo for Arsene Wenger’s team but they could now reignite their interest.
The forward has struggled for first-team minutes this season and even Wenger has admitted he has deserved more game time than he has received.
As such he is widely expected to depart the Emirates this summer and a return to Spain looks the most likely option.
A return to Deportivo has been mooted but Sevilla could now complicate matters and may be a more attractive proposition.
The club finished fourth in La Liga so can offer Champions League football although manager Jorge Sampaoli is set to take the Argentine job and it’s unclear yet who his replacement will be.

While it would be a massive shame if Perez were to depart Arsenal, it’s difficult to see him getting regular football and few would begrudge him a move away to prevent his career further stalling.
