We arguably have more strength in depth than we have had for a long time in the current Arsenal squad, so much so that there are a number of players struggling for game time. We have plenty of young stars on our books who could do with seeing regular first team football, and may therefore benefit from a season out on loan.

Below we’ve compiled a list of Arsenal stars who we believe should be sent out on loan:
6) Carl Jenkinson
The right-back enjoyed a superb season on loan at West Ham, and was a regular in the starting XI. He got some much needed experience, but is arguably still not at the level required. The 23-year-old would be battling for a starting spot against Mathieu Debuchy and Hector Bellerin, and is unlikely to be happy with a spot on the bench – if he makes the squad at all.

One more season on loan seems like it would be beneficial for all parties, as it would be a shame to see him leave the club just yet. Another campaign with a Premier League club could potentially prove whether he has what it takes to make it at Arsenal, and as Debuchy will be approaching 31 come the end of the 2015/16 season, we may need an injection of young blood.
He is already being courted by West Ham (via the Daily Mail) and Sunderland (via The Telegraph), so this is one that actually looks like happening.
5) Gedion Zelalem
A player dubbed “the next Cesc Fabregas” (via The Guardian), Zelalem hasn’t quite pushed on as quickly as we would have hoped. He is only 18-years-old, and has plenty of time to improve, but a loan spell that provides regular first team football could help his development.
He has been impressing recently in the U20 world cup with the USA, and will be looking to kick on at Arsenal next season.
