Both Sky Sports and the German publication, Bild have claimed that Arsenal want to replace Alexis Sanchez with Borussia Dortmund forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
It now looks certain that Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal in the coming days with a Manchester club the likeliest destination.
Now, the most important question for many Arsenal fans is who will the club sign to replace the Chilean?
It seems that we could soon have an answer with German publication, Bild claiming that the Gunners are keen on signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Borussia Dortmund man is a household name to most football fans thanks to his incredible speed and goalscoring exploits.

The Gabon international scored 31 goals in 32 Bundesliga matches last season but his club are reportedly keen on selling the 28-year-old.
Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague has claimed that while nothing has been finalised, Arsenal are ahead of every other club in the race for the Dortmund man.
“Aubameyang wants a deal, Arsenal want a deal, but we’ll have to see what Dortmund say about it,” he told Sky Sports.
“It won’t be the only signing Arsenal make, as they are after two more to strengthen this month to reinforce the side. As we saw at the weekend, they need it.”
He’s certainly not wrong on that last point. Arsenal are in dire need of reinforcement in the squad and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would provide just that. The Gabon international is a hugely exciting player who would be a very good replacement for Alexis Sanchez.
