A surprising deal has emerged involving us on deadline day with Galatasaray looking to a complete a move for Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sky Sports reports.
According to the report, a French agent has been sent to London in order to try and tie-up the deal though he has told the publication that ‘he is not very hopeful’.
While we wait for new arrivals, it would be quite obscene if we were to weaken our squad before the close of the window by letting a player of Oxlade-Chamberlain’s calibre depart.
The 21-year-old has started the season in impressive fashion and is a player we hold dear to our hearts as Arsenal fans. When analysing Wenger’s comments regarding Oxlade-Chamberlain, seeing him leave would be slightly surprising.

“When you look at Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain you think, ‘What has he not got?’ and then you’re a bit speechless,” Wenger said before our opening fixture against West Ham United (via Arsenal Player).

In terms of players Galatasaray may want to sign, they would have more luck trying to prise away Joel Campbell instead of hovering around one of our best talents.
