Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher claims we are some way off being in the title race this season, but is at least confident we will finish in the top four once again, as reported by Sky Sports.
The ex-Merseyside man was highly critical of our title credentials, and echoed the thoughts of many saying the Premier League is a two horse race this season.
He believes we are once again in a fight for Champions League and the top four, and claims it is a fight we are going to win.
“Wenger and his players have to be diplomatic but I think privately they’d know they’re not really in the title race, they’re in a race for the top four again,” he said.
“I think they’ll make it. You look at the attacking talent they’ve got, as well as the injured players coming back. I’m pretty confident Arsenal will get there.”
We are certainly some way off the pace at the moment, but there is plenty of football still to play this season.

We should by no means be counting on a title push this season, and we need to be taking every game as they come. The pendulum has been swinging our way recently however, and we have a huge number of players returning from injury at the perfect time.
I am confident we will finish the season strongly, so it will all depend on whether the teams ahead of us continue to slip up.
